  • Alyssa
    Veterinary Assistant

Cats rule dogs drool! I've always had a passion for animals ever since I was a little girl but there was some thing about cats that I favored. I went to Milwaukee Career College for the Vet Assistant program in 2013 and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to get hired on after my externship. I fell in love with the cats so quickly and 5 years later, here I am. I live at home with my 2 wonderful children and 2 wonderful cats.

  • Lorie
    Veterinary Receptionist

Meet Lorie! After working 11 years in animal emergency and critical care, Lorie decided to become a part of the amazing team at The Cat Doctor in October of 2017. As a receptionist, she meets and assists clients daily on the phone and in person. What Lorie enjoys most is providing quality and compassionate care in a cat friendly dedicated environment and facility!
When she's not working with 'furry' friends, Lorie enjoys reading, shopping, attending church functions and spending time with family.

  • Colleen
    Veterinary Receptionist

Colleen joined the Cat Doctor team in 2017 as an Animal Care worker and has recently made the move to Reception. Animals, especially cats, have been a lifelong interest .  She loves to learn about cat behavior, from kitten to senior.  There is so much cats can tell us, just by a flick of a tail or certain sitting position. With each client Colleen interacts with, she strives to make the cat as well as their owners feel as comfortable as possible. Talking with clients and meeting their cats is the best part of her day. Colleen lives in Milwaukee with her husband and their three spoiled cats, Nemo, Gizmo and Lila Jean.   Outside of work she enjoys gardening, reading with a cat on her lap, travel and volunteering with Milwaukee Animal Control. Colleen looks forward to assisting you and your cat at The Cat Doctor.

  • Jela
    Veterinary Assistant

Jela joined The Cat Doctor team October 2019. She loves how devoted The Cat Doctor is to making clients and their cats as comfortable as possible. Jela also loves that everyday presents a brand new learning opportunity. Currently, Jela has a 9 year old DSH named Yang, a Cane Corso dog named Cupcake, and a 3 year old leopard Gecko named El Chapo. Jela loves the arts and have attended school for Illustration and Graphic design. Occasionally, she does freelance commission for those as well. She also enjoys cooking and baking confectioneries. Jela is a student working toward her CVT, but potentially hopes to pursue a career as a farrier or large animal technician. Later in life, her ultimate goal is to open a cat cafe catering to senior or special needs cats!
